Alzheimer’s Disease International’s 35th Global Conference will take place on 9-11 June 2022 in London and online. Apart from hosting the longest-running conference on dementia, Alzheimer’s Disease International (ADI) has created an important network of NGOs, researchers, and institutions working towards dementia risk reduction, timely diagnoses, better treatments, patient and caregiver support, and potential cures, among other things.
Year-round, ADI raises awareness, publishes reports, and helps promote the implementation of the World Health Organization’s Global action plan on the public health response to dementia.
This year, the programme will focus on eight key topics:
- Symposium themes
- Dementia as a public health priority
- Dementia awareness and friendliness
- Dementia risk reduction
- Dementia diagnosis, treatment, care, and support
- Support for dementia carers
- Information systems for dementia
- Dementia research & innovation
